Here at West Lindsey District Council, we want our residents to make their homes as energy efficient as possible,
whether that be through face-to-face advice on how they can install low-cost measures to retain heat or reduce energy output or helping our residents access grant funding to upgrade their homes and make them easier to heat and stay warmer over winter.
Since 2021 over 1100 residents across West Lindsey District Council have benefited from schemes ran either by West Lindsey District Council, central government or Ofgem receiving measures from heating controls and insulation all the way up to air source heat pumps and solar panels.
One of the schemes is the Great British Insulation Scheme, which has received the highest uptake per 100,000 households in West Lindsey compared to the rest of the UK. The Government-funded initiative helps people install energy efficiency measures to reduce their energy bills and runs until March 2026.
If you want more information about what grant funding is available and to check if you're eligible then get with our Home Energy Advice Team on 01427 676199 or energy.advice@west-lindsey.gov.uk
