Indoor bowls club

The Glentham Indoor Bowls Club is a friendly group of men and women of mixed ages and abilities who meet every Friday and most Tuesdays in the Village Hall at 6.45 pm.

We practise Short Mat bowls on our own mats throughout the year and participate in local intra-village competitions with home and away matches over the winter. Competitions are run according to the Rules of the English Short Mat Bowling Association.

The club is always looking for new members - not just from Glentham but also from surrounding villages. No equipment (just flat soft-soled slippers or socks!) is required initially to take up this absorbing pastime.
